Spellbound Contemporary Ballet was founded in 1994 by choreographer Maurice Astolfi. Two years later, Valentina Marini joined he group, and since then, SCB's reputation has been steadily rising.

The ensemble has its unmistakable style and brings together renowned dancers. Spellbound is ranked among the best Italian ensembles at international level, gaining audiences at major festivals all over Europe, Asia and America.

For 20 years, SCB has been organizing creative workshops and seminars that have already influenced thousands of dancers. The production of the dance company has been supported since 2000 by the Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
